sKOIte board
My friend Christine and I made a deal where each of us will paint a skateboard for the other. I just finished this last week. Hopefully she'll like it. Trish wishes we could hang it in our house. I'm glad you like my art Trish! I'll make you one next. :)

Lax on Wax
The Vinyl release of Parallax, Mediums & Messages draws closer and closer. We got the 2nd test presses last week after having to re mix and re master. These are the labels I did for side A, B. I did all the art. Jeffo did the text and formatted it to the Pirates Press template.
When the record comes out I'll do another post!

Gas Tank
My friend Keith recently built a bike for the chopper underground's 2011 bike build off. He asked if I would be interested in painting the gas tank and of course I jumped at the opportunity. He left it up to me to decide what to do with it. The first thing I thought of was a moth so I went with that and never looked back.
I finished the detail with the acrylics. The black and the bright green outline are oil based paint pens. I LOVE the bright green. I was debating whether to put it on or not. I'm glad I went with it. Then I sprayed some clear gloss finish over it.
Keith was really happy with it. I was happy with the end result as well. It was a really fun quick project.
The bike turned out awesome. Keith did a great job. Hope he wins the build off.
I got the tank from Keith already coated with black spray paint. I started with some background splatters with water based acrylics.
Using acrylics I put down the first layer of browns so I could get the shape down. Then I added some more splatters.
